Differences in seat firmness based on usage

Over time, your seating furniture upholstery will make a development referred to as compression. This means that the upholstery will adapt to your weight and change accordingly. We therefore recommend uniform usage to avoid a unilateral remission.

Loose cushions are not sewn to the sofa body or fastened otherwise, and therefore move during use. They must be returned to their original position and be shaken regularly. The advantage is interchangeability, ensuring a more even wear and the possibility to change the cover.

Furniture feet

To protect your floor, we recommend commercial felt pads to prevent damage that may possibly result if the furniture shifts. Furniture feet - both wood and metal - are attached to the upholstered furniture frame with threaded or wooden screws. Special order furniture feet must be attached by the customer himself.

We recommend not treating furniture feet and other chrome parts with abrasives or solvent based cleaning alcohol. Dusting with a damp cloth is sufficient. Use a soft sponge with a neutral cleaning agent for grease and oil stains. Definitely use a dry, soft cloth afterwards. Frequent cleaning prevents scratching by fine dirt particles.

Armrests

The sofa's armrests are intended as support for arms and small objects. They also characterize the design of our upholstered furniture and provide stability. This version is generally not suitable to carry a person’s weight. You should therefore avoid sitting, leaning, or even standing on them.
